It's always been a very pleasant experience and a lovely stay: Mario is very friendly always available, the flat is tidy, comfortable and cozy. The location is central, with plenty of good restaurants and excellent shopping facilities, a few minutes walk from the underground station "Ottaviano", 10' walk from S. Peter. After the first time I stayed at Mario's I knew there would be no other place in Rome I would stay at!”

The entire historic centre is easily accessible on foot, by bus, by tram, and even by metro. This is quite valuable for making the most of your time. Prati is an elegant residential neighbourhood, safe and pleasant. It's not packed with tourists like the nearby Trastevere. And there's just what you need in terms of shops, restaurants, and cafés to live like a true Roman. Moreover, you'll be welcomed by a real Roman: Mario, very friendly, who loves to pamper his guests and help them organise their trip if needed. I highly recommend this haven of peace (calm and cool) to tourists who want to explore the Eternal City all day long.”
