The Angels of the Mysterious House

A magical and romantic refuge

Very close to St. Peter's, the Vatican Museums, and the Ottaviano metro station, the apartment is located on the first floor of a charming period building (1910) and overlooks a peaceful internal courtyard. Access is via a private staircase that rises from the courtyard to the apartment's balcony, which has two large glass doors opening onto it.

The particular location of the apartment has always captured the imagination of my children when they were young, and they came to call it "The Mysterious House". Angels from various posters depicting the Annunciation welcome guests and watch over their stay. The apartment is silent and, especially after sunset, is filled with a magical and romantic atmosphere.

The apartment consists of two large rooms with ceilings almost 4 meters high, one of which is partially lofted to accommodate a romantic sleeping area (the mattress is 150 x 190 cm). The kitchen is perfectly functional. There are gas stoves, an electric oven, a refrigerator, and a microwave, as well as dishes, pots, and all kitchen accessories. The bathroom has a comfortable 70x90 shower, a hair dryer, and a washing machine available to guests. There is soap, shampoo, and bath foam. Hot water is unlimited. The apartment is equipped with linens and blankets of various weights, television, independent heating, a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, and a microwave to ensure a comfortable stay even for extended periods. There is a dual-split air conditioning system with one unit in each of the two rooms. There are also two large ceiling fans.

The location of the apartment is strategic for those who wish to visit Rome for tourism. St. Peter's and the Vatican Museums are reachable on foot, and the metro stop allows you to reach Piazza di Spagna, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and the Colosseum in just a few minutes.

It is also very easy to reach the apartment from the station or airport without needing to take a taxi. From Fiumicino, you can take the Sitbus Shuttle, which has a Vatican stop 800 meters away. From Termini Station (connected to the airports by train/bus) you can take the A line of the metro for just six stops to "Ottaviano - St. Peter's".
